One
of the most painful results of the 1997
financial crises was the tremendous
increase in the unemployment population
in Korea. Recognizing the urgency of
this situation, companies and members
of the American Chamber of Commerce
(AMCHAM) raised close to 1.2 billion
won to establish the Partners for the
Future Foundation in February 2000.
The
Partners for the Future Foundation:
Provides
assistance in the form of education
and training in order to increase employment
opportunities and income, enabling people
to overcome these challenges on their
own.
Hopes
to set a new culture of sharing in the
Korea.
Having
a job means more than just a stable
income. It is one of the most important
links to achieve a happy life.
Let’s
go together! A bright future is waiting
for us.
