Agreement to Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of this arrangement is to prescribe the matters concerning the terms and conditions as well as the procedures of accessing and using the Web Services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services") of the English version of the Partners for the Future Foundation as provided by the Partners for the Future Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Partners for the Future Foundation").

Article 2 (Effect and Modification of Arrangement)

A. For any member, this arrangement shall become effective at the time when he/she expresses his/her consent to the terms and conditions of this arrangement.
B. Partners for the Future Foundation may, if deemed necessary, modify any provisions of this arrangement, which shall take effect by being notified to the members at www.partners-korea.org
C.If any member is not willing to consent to any modification, he/she may cease to use the Services and terminate the agreement on the use of the Services: Provided, That if he/she continues to use the Services until after any modification takes effect, he/she shall be deemed to consent thereto.

Article 3 (Applicable Rules Other Than Arrangement)

A. Such matters as not prescribed by this arrangement or related Acts shall be governed by the general rules of law or related Act such as the Electric Communication Law, etc.

Article 4 (Definitions of Terms)

The definitions of terms used in this arrangement shall be as follows:
A. The term "member" means a person who makes an agreement on the use of the Services with Partners for the Future Foundation and is granted an identification number by dint thereof;
B. The term "identification number(ID)" means such a combination of English alphabets and Arabic numerals as Partners for the Future Foundation, at the request of a member, grants him/her so as to identify him/her thereby;
C. The term "password" means such a combination of English alphabets and Arabic numerals as Partners for the Future Foundation, at the request of a member, grants him/her in order to ascertain whether he/she is entitled to any identification number and to protect the confidentiality of his/her personal information.

Article 5 (Establishment of Agreement)

A.Agreements on the use of the Services shall be made Immediately after an agreement on the use of the Services is established by clicking on “I Agree” to proceed with signing up process.
B.An agreement on the use of the Services shall be established at the time when Partners for the Future Foundation accepts an offer of a person (including a juristic person or similar organization) who intends to use the Services.

Article 6 (Offer of Use)

A. An offer of use shall be made by entering the following matters in an application for admission on-line as determined by Partners for the Future Foundation.
B. All member information entered in the on-line registration form is regarded as real data. For those with false information cannot be legally protected and will have limited access to the Services.
C.Name should be verified as real when signing up. For those with false name cannot be legally protected and will have limited access to the Services.

Article 7 (Protection of Personal Information of Member)

A. Partners for the Future Foundation shall neither disclose or distribute any personal information of a member which, in relation to the provision of the Services, comes to its knowledge to other persons without his consent, nor use such information for any commercial purpose.

Article 8 (Acceptance of Offer of Use)

A.Partners for the Future Foundation shall deal with offers of use under Article 6 in order of receipt, if not any special reason to the contrary.
B.The acceptance of an offer of use may be reserved if -
i.the capacity for the Services falls short;
ii.there might exist any technical impediment in the provision of the Services; or
iii.there exists any other reason connected to any business of Partners for the Future Foundation which makes it impossible to provide the Services.

C.An offer of use may be refused if

i.the Name is not verified
ii.the requirements under Article 6 falsely entered
iii.any good morals or social order is violated
iv.the requirements under Article 6 are incomplete or not satisfied.

Article 9 (Correction of Entered Matters)

A.If any matter as entered under Article 6 is altered, a member shall, without delay, correct it on-line or by any other means as determined by Partners for the Future Foundation. A member shall be responsible for not making changes in his/her member’s information.

Article 10 (Obligation of Partners for the Future Foundation)

A.Partners for the Future Foundation shall, in accordance with this arrangement, make efforts to provide the Services on an uninterrupted and stable basis, and shall repair and restore any equipment without delay, if any malfunction or destruction occurs to it.
B.Partners for the Future Foundation shall, if altering or adding any content of the Services, give public notice of its substantials to the members at www.partners-korea.org
C.Partners for the Future Foundation shall not disclose or distribute any such information on a member, as comes to its knowledge in the course of the provision of the Services, to other persons without his/her consent: Provided, That the same shall not apply to cases as prescribed by any Act.

Article 11 (Obligation of Member)

A. A member shall comply with this arrangement, the guidance, notices, etc. concerning the use of the Services as notified by the Partners for the Future Foundation and shall not interfere with the businesses of Partners for the Future Foundation.
B. A member shall be responsible not to have his/her identification number and password used by any other person who is not entitled thereto..
C. A member shall report to Partners of the Future Foundation immediately as soon as he/she discovers that his/her ID or password has been used improperly and follow the guided rules. Members shall be responsible for all outcomes that occur by not following the guided rules.
D. Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any sales activity without the prior consent nor any consequences arising from the activities. A member shall be liable for damages to Partners for the Future Foundation that incurs due to such sales activities.
E. A member may not transfer or yield the right of use of the Services or others to another person without the consent of Partners of the Future Foundation nor provide it as collateral.
F.It shall not be permitted that a member involves any of the following acts:
i.Using other’s IDs, passwords and social security numbers
ii.Having any other person use his/her identification number;
iii.Acts that infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, right or intellectual property right
iv.Acts contrary to good morals or public order
v.Transmitting, posting, e-mailing, or distributing contents that may be offensive or threatening to infringe the privacy of others
vi.Any act which is considered as crimes
vii.Transferring, assigning or mortgaging any right or duty in relation to the use of the Services without the consent of Partners for the Future Foundation; and
viii.Other acts of violating the law or related Acts.

Article 12 (Provision of Information)

A. Partners for the Future Foundation shall provide various information that is deemed necessary to members during the use of the Services through notice or e-mail.

Article 13 (Rates and Charges)

A. The use of the Services includes complimentary access in general. However, this shall not apply to extra information or paid services provided by the Partners for the Future Foundation

Article 14 (Contribution, Use, and Distribution of Donation)

A. A member shall apply for sponsorship by choosing the sponsorship type, sponsorship method, and sponsorship amount by using the sponsorship application menu.
B. A member’s contributions will be posted by Partners for the Future Foundation.
C. All contributions shall be tax-deductible.
D. All contributions shall be sent to those selected during the donation process through Partners for the Future Foundation.
E. All results of the contributions shall be posted on the sponsorship information menu according to the policy of Partners for the Future Foundation.
F. A member shall attend the place where the donation is delivered. Partners for the Future Foundation shall invite the member as well.

Article 15 (Use of Member’s Postings and Services)

Partners for the Future Foundation may, without giving any notice in advance, eliminate contents or communities, if:
A. a member brings disgrace on others or give any disadvantage.
B. a member acts contrary to good morals or public order.
C. a member commits any act which is considered as crimes.
D. a member infringes any rights or copyrights.
E. a member posts pornographic materials or links to pornographic sites.
F. a member posts information that does not match the site’s original purpose.
E. a member commits any other act of violating the law or related Acts.

Article 16 (Copyright)

The right for the data posted on the Services is as follows:
A. The rights and responsibilities of the posts belong to the publisher, and Partners for the Future Foundation shall not use it for commercial purposes without the consent of the publisher. However, this shall not apply to non-profit cases and Partners for the Future Foundation shall have access to postings within the Services.
B. A member shall not commercially use posted information on the Services nor process or sell data gained through the Services.

Article 17 (Advertisements)

A. The Company reserves the right to provide Users with advertisements for the Company or a third party, through the Services.
B. Partners for the Future Foundation is not responsible for all the loss or damage occurred by communication or transaction within the Services.

Article 18 (Suspension of Provision of Services)

A.Partners for the Future Foundation may suspend the provision of the Services:
i. in case that it is inevitable to maintain or repair any equipment for the Services;
ii. in case that the relevant facilities-based telecommunications business operator as prescribed in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends the provision of his telecommunications service; or
iii.in case of force majeure.
B. Partners for the Future Foundation may suspend the provision of all or part of the Services if there exists any obstacle to the normal use thereof in case of a national emergency, power failure, trouble in any Services equipment or congestion of the Services uses.
C. Partners for the Future Foundation shall give notice of the reason and period to members when limiting or suspending the Services.
D. Partners for the Future Foundation shall change the existing services or replace them with new services for any reason that is deemed appropriate. These matters will be announced on the main page of the Services 7 days before its initial launch. However, under uncontrollable cases where it is impossible for Partners for the Future Foundation to notify in advance is exempted.

Article 19 (Termination of Agreement)

A. If a member intends to terminate the agreement on the use of the Services, he/she shall notify the Institute by e-mail or by any such means as designated by it.
B. Partners for the Future Foundation may, without giving any notice in advance, terminate the agreement on the use of the Services and suspend the provision of the Services, if:
i. a member violates Article 11;
ii. a member intentionally slanders Partners for the Future Foundation or commits any other act which constitutes the interference with the provision of the Services;
iii. a member acts contrary to good morals or public order;
iv. a member brings disgrace on others or give any disadvantage;
v. a member infringes any personal rights or intellectual property rights or commits any other act which constitutes the interference with the provision of the Services;
vi. a member intentionally interfere with the operation of the Services;
vii. a member transmits or posts information which is prohibited to be transmitted or posted under the general rules of law or related Act;
viii. a member is provided the requirement of correction by external agencies such as Korean Internet Safety Commission or is provided an authoritative interpretation by National Election Commission related to illegal electioneering;
ix. a member commits any act which is considered as crimes;
x. a member commits any other act of violating the law or related Acts; or
xi. a member commits any act of violating the Terms of Use set forth by Partners for the Future Foundation including this Agreement.
C. Partners for the Future Foundation may suspend the provision of all or part of the Services if there exists any obstacle to the normal use thereof in case of a national emergency, power failure, trouble in any Services equipment or congestion of the Services uses.
D. Partners for the Future Foundation shall give notice of the reason and period to members when limiting or suspending the Services.

Article 20 (Compensation for Damage)

Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any damage to a member caused by the provision of the Services itself.

Article 21 (Exemptions)

Partners for the Future Foundation can eliminate contents or communities without any notice when considered as followings:
A. If it is impossible for Partners for the Future Foundation to provide the Services due to any natural disaster or force majeure equivalent thereto, it shall be exempted from all the liabilities related to the provision of the Services.
B. Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any difficulty in the use of the Services which is attributable to the relevant member.
C. Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any loss of such profits as a member expects the use of the Services to yield as well as for any damage caused by any information which he/she obtains by using the Services.
D. Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for reliability and its accuracy on the information or data that the members have uploaded.
D. Partners for the Future Foundation shall not be liable for any loss of the members in the use of the Services which is attributable to the relevant member.

Article 22 (Competent Court)

The competent court in the place where Partners for the Future Foundation is located shall have jurisdiction over all disputes occurring from or in relation to the use of the Services.

This arrangement shall enter into force on November 15, 2018
